Oakville Garage and Workshop

All of the projects around your home and property would be much easier if you had a sheltered place to work, with room for all of your tools and work tables and storage space for your supplies. You need a workshop. And, you can get started on one right now with free plans from Today’s Plans.

The Oakville Workshop is a practical, 16′x24′ one-bay garage with a storage loft and a 12′x24 shop area at the side. It’s perfect for auto restoration or car care. But, the big overhead garage door makes it work well as a woodworking shop if you’re planning on building large projects.

The free plan set includes a material list and drawings for an optional shed-roof expansion space for the right side of the garage. You can add another parking bay, more storage area or additional workshop space whenever you need it.

Construction of  the Oakville Workshop calls for standard 2×6 studs and 2×8 roof rafters. Foundation options include a monolithic slab or frost wall.
